George Ladner established Intertex in
1992 to market contract and decorative interior textiles. Intertex
became one of the largest interior textiles marketing agencies
in the US with annual sales of over $29 million. In early 2000
he merged Intertex with eDesignerSource to market interior textiles
to commercial designers over the Internet, but was forced to
cease operations due to lack of follow-on funding. He re-established
Intertex in 2003. He has also held positions in finance and
start-up manufacturing operations. He has more than 20 years
of management and marketing experience working with the interior
fabric divisions of Chatham, Burlington Industries, Joan Fabrics
Corporation and Lantal Textiles Inc. Mr. Ladner has an undergraduate
degree from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the University
of Chicago.
